Luke Hines is a senior two sport athlete at Lampeter Strasburg High School. He excels on the basketball court, but his true talents lay on the turf. Hines graduates in a month and is continuing his academic and football journey at Shippensburg University in the fall. From 717 Sports, good luck Luke!

 

SM: What was your reaction to being selected to the LL Berks All Star team?

LH: I was very excited to hear I was selected. I get to practice and play one more time in high school.

 

SM: What have you been doing to prepare for the upcoming game?

LH: I have been training five days a week with my trainer, Darryl Daniels, mostly to help me get ready for college.

 

SM: What made you decide that Shippensburg was the best fit for you going into the fall?

LH: Mostly the players and the coaching staff and the program. They have given me the opportunity to compete and win.

 

SM: What are you most excited about in becoming a college freshman?

LH: A change of scenery and playing football at a high level once again.
